Did God start making the other stars and universes years before he made earth?

Or did this happen before he created time, because the story I heard says it only took God 6 days.

Taking into account our closest star (that isn't the sun) is 4.2 light years from the earth.Did God start making the other stars and universes years before he made earth?
It's not a story, it's truth. And it took God LESS than 6 days, because God said it was there, and it was there. Taking into account??? You have not taken into account how big God is. You could make something, and microscopic life might have said you made that in a gazillion years becausw it's so big- to them.Did God start making the other stars and universes years before he made earth?
Genesis states that God created the stars on the fourth day, after the sun and the moon were created.

Scientists claim that the universe is expanding. What if this is true, and the stars were in fact closer the the earth at creation than they are now?

What if light is altered in some way by long distance, the extreme cold of space, or some other variable we don't know yet?

Better yet, what if our method of measuring distances of stars is inaccurate? After all, we don't exactly have a method of testing it.

I'm not trying to make astronomers out to be liars or anything; I'm just saying that there are too many things we don't know to assume ';people found out this so the Bible must be inaccurate';
The best place to look is on the inspirational channels, they have several shows. 1. Creation Series, 2. Creation Ministries 2. Creation Magazine Live 4. Dr. Carl Baugh 5. Answers in Genesis.

These explain everything and help to understand Christians and the evolution hoax that is perpetuated by the illuminati communists that have infiltrated education, Hollywood, and media through unions
you can reed about god untilyou go mad in the head.the best way is get on with your life take one day at a time you life is lade out for you just go with it and dont think about any els each day is different enjoy your journey good luck mick.
No because ';god'; didn't make everything. In fact god doesn't even exist.

Time to wake up and listen to science.
Hard to say. His prospectus didn't include a detailed time line.
A lot of people take the genesis story literally I regard it as a myth as lots of cultures have creation stories. However the scientific ';creation'; story if you want to call it that goes like this.

1. the big bang occured about 13.7 billion years ago. to talk about before the big bang is really meaningless as the big bang created spacetime, its difficult to explain the concepts involved as they are very counter intutive and hard to grasp but i would highly recommend any popular physics book if you want more detail

2. sometime (a few hundred million years probably) after the big bang the temperature had cooled to the point that atoms could form.

3. these atoms under the force of gravity condensed to form the very first stars. these stars would not have had planets as the universe was only hydrogen and helium (both gases).

4. the lighter elements were fused in the cores of these stars to make the heavier elements (this process can get u as far as iron, heavier elements than iron are formed by supernova)

5. 2nd generation stars would be the first to have planets as there are now heavier elements and compounds available

6. 5 billion years ago (roughly) the beginning of the formation of our solar system, about 99% of the material makes up the mass of the sun with Jupiter taking up most of the rest.

7. 4.5-5 billion years ago the early earth (still molten) was hit by a body about the size of mars. the debris from this collision would have form rings around our planet similar to Saturn until this material condensed into the moon.

8. 4.5 billion years ago. the earth fully formed i.e surface cooled etc.

9. 3.5 billion years ago the first primitive, single celled organisms appeared. there is evidence to suggest early life may have appeared more than 4 billion years ago

10. nothing but single celled organisms for the next 3 billion years.

11. 600 million years ago, the first eukaryotic cells evolve (thats our kind of cell, cells that clump together to form multicellular organisms), this leads to the ';cambrian explosion';, in which a multitude of multicellular forms evolve in a relatively short space of time (6-10 million years)

12. 500 million years ago. animals and plants begin to make their way on to the land.

13. after that u have the permian mass extinction about 250 million years ago, then the extinction of the dinosaurs about 65 million years ago.

14. our family tree splits from the other great apes about 7 million years ago

15. our species, homo sapiens, evolves in africa about 200,000 years ago

i know i went a little of topic talking about the evolution of life as well but that should be a brief summary of everything up till now. hope it helps :-)
