When making fruit ice cubes, how do you make the toothpick stand in the middle?

Im making some little fruit cube popsicles and

I was wondering how the toothpick would stay standing in the middle? When making fruit ice cubes, how do you make the toothpick stand in the middle?
Place Saran wrap over the top of the ice cube tray, then poke the tooth pick through the plasticWhen making fruit ice cubes, how do you make the toothpick stand in the middle?
Most people answered Saran Wrap, but I find that it doesn't stick to anything. Use tin foil because it's stronger and the sticks won't flop over.
seran wrap....
Reynolds wrap is stiffer than saran wrap and you might want to try it.
you have to wait til the ice gets a little frozen then stick the toothpick in and they will stand at attention
Cover the ice cube tray with plastic wrap (the new sticky kind would work great) or tin foil, then poke the tooth picks through the centers. Easy!
After filling the trays, put a piece of masking tape (the light tan one that tears like paper) across each line of cubes. Poke the toothpicks through the tape. After it's frozen, the masking tape is easily removed.
let's say you are doing this now and plastic wrap is no where to be found. Let them freeze (not all the way through) for about 45 minutes and then go at them with the toothpicks. However, like everyone else has been saying, plastic wrap is the best option.
i think you have to cover the tray with plastic-wrap. hope that helps....
take and cover the tray with saran wrap and stick the toothpicks in each cube and freeze .
you put suram wrap over the ice tray then poke the tooth picks through ^.^
It is said to use saran wrap to wrap the tray first then poke them thru the saran wrap. But if that doesn't hold you can use foil, you jut have to lightly press and trace where the cubes are so you can poke the toothpicks toward the centers. Have fun!
